Job Title: MIG Welder / Fabricator

Pay: $22-24/hr depending on experience

Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday, plus overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform aluminum welding
• Interpret and read blueprints and fabrication drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances, and welding requirements.
• Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment and tools to complete fabrication tasks according to job specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble aluminum components prior to welding to ensure proper alignment and fit-up.
• Inspect welded joints and fabricated parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with drawings and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all shop safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work, resolve fabrication issues, and meet production deadlines.

Essential Skills

• 2 to 5 years of recent experience in aluminum welding and fabrication.
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including the ability to interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Hands-on experience with aluminum welding processes in a fabrication or shop environment.
• Ability to set up and operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds and fabricated components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baldwin Park, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
