Project Civil Engineer JOB SUMMARY: A Project Civil Engineeroversees the planning, design, and construction of projects (sitework, utilities, roads etc.) from inception to completion. They provide quality assurance oversight through project review, estimation-quantities and cost, budget management, scheduling, utilization of design software like AutoCAD, and coordinate with teams, clients, and contractors to meet quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop, manage, and monitor project lifecycles, including scoping, quantities, costs, and budgeting, scheduling, and identifying required resources. Use software such asAutoCADor Civil 3D to audit plans for transportation, hydraulic, or structural systems. Ensure projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, safety guidelines, and environmental standards. Supervise field construction activities, inspect work for quality and compliance, and solve complex field problems. Prepare and maintain reports, cost estimates, site plans, and required permits.
