You will drive strategic platform development, champion industry best practices, and ensure delivery of scalable, resilient, and user-centric solutions. Your leadership will guide the adoption of advanced technologies and frameworks, aligning with the firm’s vision and objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesLeads multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide technology objectivesDirectly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focusSets and scales multi-department strategy for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation (using enterprise-authorized tools within the work environment) to drive firmwide objectives (speed, scalability, reliability, and cost-to-serve), including portfolio-level standards for AI-orchestrated delivery workflows, release governance, automated test modernization, resilience engineering, and incident response acceleration; establishes guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, traceability, and reuse.Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to drive cross-domain reuse and measurable capacity unlock outcomes across departments.Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of businessActs as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus across competing objectivesManages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborationsInfluences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teamsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologistsExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExperience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering practices (using enterprise-authorized tools within the work environment) across teams, including defining operating expectations (human-in-the-loop validation, quality gates), measuring outcomes, and ensuring secure handling of sensitive inputs/outputs.Strong understanding of responsible AI use and control expectations in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, resiliency/security implications, and governance; ability to influence leaders on safe scaling patterns and reuse.Practical cloud native experienceExpertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
