KVM Designs is looking for an experienced Microvellum Architectural Cabinet shop Drafter to join our team. This position is for someone who understands architectural millwork and can take architectural drawings, specifications, and field information and turn them into accurate shop drawings and production drawings. Responsibilities Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and finish schedules Create detailed architectural woodwork shop drawings Prepare production drawings and build drawings for the shop Draft custom millwork, casework, wall panels, reception desks, countertops, laminate work Coordinate with project managers, and production Identify drawing conflicts, missing details, and construction issues Revise drawings based on architect comments, field dimensions, and project changes Help ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and ready for production Put job into production for the shop and CNC Requirements Experience drafting architectural woodwork or commercial millwork Microvellum software experience is a plus Ability to read architectural plans and details Understanding of how millwork is built, fabricated, finished, and installed Strong attention to detail Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects Strong AutoCAD experience required Location: Buford Ga Pay: will be based on experience and qualifications.
