Radiology Technologist Weekends

Hourly Wage Estimate: $26.52 - $40.90 / hour Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 (available to candidates not currently employed by HCA HealthONE.) Position: Radiology Technologist (Weekend Shift) – Friday to Sunday, 0700‑1930. Additional differential pay of $6.25/hr on top of base rate for all hours worked. Job Summary and Responsibilities Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services. Key responsibilities include: Operating x‑ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts. Under the supervision of a radiologist, performing x‑ray therapy and explaining procedures to patients while addressing their concerns. Serving patients in the emergency department, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics. Performing procedures on patients ranging from neonate to geriatric ages, in accordance with established protocols. Maintaining technical competence and delivering quality diagnostic results. Qualifications Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification. Maintenance of registry by attending continuing education activities to keep knowledge and skill levels current. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, lift patients or equipment up to 50 lbs. Preferred: 2+ years of recent acute‑care experience. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
