Job Description The UF Health Cancer Institute is the 72nd NCI designated cancer center and the only one at a public university in the State of Florida. Within a matrix cancer center, we span all of the University of Florida’s 16 colleges, bringing together a world‑class, multidisciplinary membership of more than 350 faculty and 150 staff to address the challenges of the cancer burden faced by the population we serve as we work together to find a cure. Responsibilities Transcribe protocol‑required clinical data from medical records into case report forms, OnCore/Epic in accordance with protocol requirements and timelines. Coordinate research sample collection and ensure proper labeling, processing, storage, and shipping in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Facilitate regulatory compliance by assisting with audits, submitting required documents to the IRB, and tracking study approvals and subject data in the Clinical Trials Management System. Support the coordination of clinical trial participants, including preparing study materials, attending research meetings, and ensuring protocol‑specific tests and procedures are completed. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing and/or Basic Sciences. One year of relevant experience or training in research and/or oncology. Experience working with databases and/or patient data. Familiarity with laboratory processes, including the collection, processing, storage, and shipment of human samples. Skills and Abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Demonstrated ability to manage data accurately and maintain compliance with research protocols. Effective writing, organizational, and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Experience supporting clinical research and/or oncology‑related programs. Resourceful team player who can also work independently with professionalism and discretion. Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex situations collaboratively.
