Key Duties:

• Operate X-ray equipment to obtain clear, accurate images for physician review
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to safety standards
• Adhere to strict protocols for infection control, patient privacy (HIPAA), and radiation safety
• Accurately document and report imaging results using electronic medical record systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to provide seamless patient care
• Assist with supply management and support general workflow in the imaging department

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Valid state licensure in radiologic technology
• Demonstrated proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical needs or priorities
