Fortiva are partnering with a leading Owners Representative and construction consultancy to appoint a Construction Scheduler to support a growing pipeline of projects across Arizona.

This role will play a key part in driving project success through effective planning, scheduling, and analysis, working closely with project teams to ensure timelines are realistic, risks are managed, and delivery remains on track.

Position Overview

The Construction Scheduler will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project schedules across the full lifecycle of construction projects. This includes building baseline schedules, tracking progress, analyzing delays, and providing strategic insight to support decision-making.

You will work across multiple projects, providing critical input into planning, sequencing, and recovery strategies, while ensuring all scheduling outputs align with client expectations and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including baseline and live updates
• Build resource-loaded and cost-linked schedules to support accurate project tracking
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates, identifying risks and potential delays
• Conduct schedule impact analysis related to change orders and project variations
• Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to support delay claims and entitlement reviews
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders on scheduling matters
• Evaluate alternative sequencing and construction approaches through scenario planning
• Support project teams in identifying mitigation strategies and recovery plans
• Prepare monthly schedule reports and narratives, outlining progress and key issues
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track performance and critical milestones
• Maintain quality control and consistency across all scheduling deliverables

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong construction knowledge and the ability to operate across complex project environments.

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in construction scheduling or project controls
• Strong proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and project lifecycles
• Experience supporting delay analysis, claims, or change management processes
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present schedule data clearly
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
