We are seeking an IPE / Production Engineer to gain hands-on experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, production systems, and process improvement within a furniture manufacturing environment.

Location: Greenville, NC

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM to 5PM.

What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day manufacturing and production operations.
• Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Assist with process improvement projects and workflow optimization.
• Collect and analyze production data, measurements, and performance information.
• Help identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities to improve productivity.
• Work closely with production and operations teams on implementing improvements.
• Assist with documenting processes, procedures, and production standards.
• Gain hands-on exposure to industrial engineering principles within a furniture manufacturing environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in  Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a related field .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both office and production personnel.
• Someone who is curious, adaptable, and interested in learning how products move from production to finished goods.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to obtain Forklift Operator’s certification.
6 mths – 1 year experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
Farming Background preferred.
Required Qualifications
Ability to listen, understand and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to use all air and power tools (ex: drills, air ratchet, etc.)
Good Interpersonal and Communication skills are required in working with personnel at all levels
within the organization.
Must follow, practice, and adhere to all company procedures, polices, and safety measures.
