1ABOVE QUALITY SERVICES LLC is looking for a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our federal custodial services team in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties in federal facilities including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors using commercial-grade cleaning equipment
• Sanitize and disinfect restrooms, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns to supervisors
• Follow all federal facility protocols, security procedures, and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or building maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to pass a federal background check and security clearance screening
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
