Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Behavioral Health RN in Nashua, New Hampshire, 03060. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive nursing care activities on the Geropsychiatric Unit. Assess, monitor, record, and report patient symptoms or changes in condition. Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories. Perform mental and physical assessments. Administer medication and treatments. Assist patients with daily activities and observe reactions. Manage therapeutic milieu activities including daily groups, education, 1:1 with individual patients. Collaborate with treatment team to insure best possible care. Create individualized treatment plans for each patient upon admission and ongoing with multidisciplinary team. Plan, implement, and coordinate nursing care activities. Conduct therapies in accordance with patient diagnosis and needs. Perform treatment interventions following physician orders. Collaborate with physicians, team members, and outside health and social agencies. Provide efficient discharge plans and obtain accurate admission histories. Complete all required documentation in a timely, efficient manner including admission paperwork, assessments, progress notes. Assist with discharge paperwork. Ensure quality of care through therapeutic standards, measure health outcomes, and adhere to regulatory standards. Qualifications 2-year Associate's degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid State of New Hampshire RN license. BLS certification required. Minimum 1 year previous nursing experience preferred. Medical terminology knowledge required. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
