About the Position

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for endoscopy patients.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and other advanced therapeutic cases.
• Monitor and assess patient status throughout procedures and recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy suites, ensuring equipment and supplies are properly set up and functioning.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients per hospital policy and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and competency reviews as required.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Experience in Advanced Therapeutics: ERCP and EUS required
• Procedural Competency: Must be able to work in procedure rooms and demonstrate full competency in required endoscopy procedures.
