Qualifications
SYNOSIS OF DUTIES:
- Rotate through each assigned casino department for two (2) months to participate in daily operations as required.
- Will work all three (3) shifts, (Days, Swings & Graves) to learn all aspects of operations.
- Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
- Will work with front line staff in all aspects of their job responsibilities.
- Take detailed notes when meeting with Managers, Supervisors, and other senior staff.
- Follow all company regulations, and health and safety policies.
- Monthly report writing describing what they learned and what they would improve.
- Maintain Title 31 compliance.
- Willing to learn and have a passion for helping others.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES GENERAL: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock tribal Key gaming License. Standing Rock tribal preference observed.
Education: High School diploma or GED required; post secondary education in business office procedures preferred. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional position. During that time must have experience in a Casino environment. Exposure to a leadership position will be a plus.
Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with the operation of Personal Computer required, including competency in word processing (MS Word) application. Working knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel). Requires exemplary human relations skills.
Physical: Requires repetitive hand/finger motions, tolerance for sitting for long periods, bending, reaching, standing, walking, speaking, hearing and visual acuity in (or corrected to) the normal range. Periodic lifting of up to 30 pounds.
