Veterinarian, Veterinary Clinical Skills – Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine Job No: 501409 Work Type: Regular Full-Time Location: Glassboro, New Jersey Position Summary: The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for Veterinary Clinical Skills Educator. Faculty in this position will plan, develop, and deliver the clinical skills education classes, activities and assessments in the preclinical curriculum, collaborate with preclinical and clinical faculty and external partners, and assist in designing and delivering content for the preclinical case-based integrations course and the Professional Skills course. Opportunities may include rotating into clinical services based on interest and need. Responsibilities: Plan, support, and deliver clinical skills training in the preclinical curriculum with faculty and staff. Develop and deliver essential skills‑training activities, including assessments. Provide constructive and timely feedback to veterinary students to enable skill mastery. Coordinate with outside partners for live animal handling activities. Review and analyze educational resources to incorporate best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop state-of-the-art clinical skills programming. Foster a friendly and collegial learning environment, promoting collaboration and excellence. Sustain a collaborative, diverse and high‑performance workplace. Perform other related duties or projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree. Minimum three years in clinical practice. Experience/training in clinical education (e.g., hosting DVM externs). Must hold or be eligible to obtain licensure as a Veterinarian in the State of New Jersey. Desired Qualifications: Experience or advanced degree in education. Minimum five years in clinical practice (small animal, mixed animal, or production animal). Interest and experience in hand‑tool use and/or educational models development. Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
