Position Overview

The Client Contact CenterPersonal Banker will be responsible for making a high volume of outboundcalls on a daily basis to cold leads, prospects and existing clients tointroduce new products and services, schedule appointments, and generate leadsto drive new account growth, deepening existing client relationships, and growdeposits for the Client Contact Center. The Personal Banker is expected to provideaccurate and courteous responses to internal and external client inquiries. Inaddition, the Personal Banker is required to deliver a Six Diamond Experienceon every call to improve customer loyalty and foster a lifelong relationship.The Client Contact Call Center Department is a high-volume contact centerserving customers and the sales team.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Achievea high level of success by understanding Customer needs and identifyingopportunities to grow the Client Contact Center.
  • PersonalBanker is accountable for prospecting and acquiring new priority new accountsand small businesses, as well as retaining and deepening existing relationships.
  • Provide information and sell appropriate banking services toclients including checking, savings accounts, credit cards, small businesslending, and additional services related to deposit accounts.
  • Makebetween 25-50 outbound calls from the mortgage lead list, small businesslending list, and wholesale lending list provided by inside sale mortgageofficers.
  • Schedulea minimum of 2-3 meetings a week with prospects to acquire new business relationship.
  • Maintainlist of existing clients, current clients, and prospects to contact to developan understanding of their full banking needs.
  • Assistclients by phone, email and in person with transaction requests and accountinquiries and work as a liaison with other departments to meet clients' needs.
  • Workwith internal departments to confirm and update client information and helpexpedite any research requests and/or refer them to the appropriate departmentto ensure timely responses.
  • Workclosely with the Loan Processors and Closing Specialists to generate checkingaccount referrals to the Contact Center and Branches.
  • Opennew accounts over the phone or in person.
  • Submittingcredit and small business lending applications.
  • Orderchecks and debit cards.
  • Enrollclients in online and mobile banking.
  • Processaccount closings as requested.
  • FileREG E claims on behalf of clients and branch staff.
  • Maintaincall logs and report details regarding calls for follow-ups.
  • Accuratelytrack and report all lead pipeline information.
  • Activelycross-sells additional business products such as loans and treasury management servicesthrough partnership with our partners.
  • Workclosely with Mortgage Officers to offer mortgage and home equity line of creditto clients and assist loan related clients as needed.
  • PersonalBanker must meet their own referrals and sales goals.
  • Partnerwith Bankers, Commercial Loan Officers, and Financial Advisor and connectcustomers to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs.
  • Must beopen and responsive to consistent coaching; take an active role in performanceplanning and goal setting.
  • PersonalBanker analyzes the client's financial condition and recommends financialsolutions to best meet the client's business and personal needs.
  • Musthave the ability to build new relationships and maintain strong relationshipswith small business owners.
  • Achievea high level of success by understanding Customer needs and identifyingopportunities to grow the Client Contact Center.
  • Provideexceptional customer service by meeting all customer demands and be able toidentify the sales opportunities and deepen the relationship.
  • Every outbound call associate is responsible for followingpolicies and procedures as well as the scripting when interacting with theclients to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Under direct supervision, processes customertransactions within established guidelines. Identifies and makes salesreferrals, recommends alternate channels, cross-sells bank services andproducts for Fremont Bank partners, and provides Six Diamond Experiencecustomer service.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in businessrelated field or equivalent work experience
  • Must have a pleasantpersonality that comes across over the phone.
  • Must have self-confidence tooffer rebuttals and deal with rejection.
  • Must have a strong work ethicand not shy away from making calls.
  • Provenconsultative outside sales experience in financial services, business tobusiness sales, or small business banking.
  • Must demonstrate the abilityand skill set to cross sell our company's products and services.
  • Must havea minimum of 2 years in customer service handling inbound and outbound calls,inside sales and telemarketing sales.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years banking experience in retailsales and/or call center.
  • Must be available to work on weekends and some holidays.
  • Must be flexible with scheduleto ensure proper coverage as determined by business needs.
  • Effective written and oralcommunication skills, including professional phone skills.
  • Ability to work independentlyand handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective problem-solvingskills and providing solutions while handling inquiries.
  • Should consistently display apositive and professional attitude while providing excellent customer serviceand support to customers and co-workers.
  • Punctuality and reliability arerequired.
  • Successfully pass the OperationExam and obtain Signing Authority.
  • NMLS Number is required.

Salary Range

The hiring salary range for this position is $29.27 - $38.84 per hour,based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.Compensation decisions are made in consideration of these factors and inalignment with Fremont Bank's compensation philosophy.
