Embedded Developer

POSITION OVERVIEW This is a Senior Embedded C Developer role focused on developing firmware for OpenWrt-based residential gateways/routers supporting DOCSIS/Fiber WAN with LTE/5G cellular backup . The engineer will work heavily with OpenSync, OVSDB, Linux networking, cellular modem integration, WiFi drivers, and kernel-level debugging . ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and debug Embedded C firmware on ARM/MIPS Linux/OpenWrt platforms. Build and maintain OpenSync managers using OVSDB for cloud-managed configuration and telemetry. Implement LTE/5G failover and fallback state machines, modem management and WAN route arbitration. Integrate cellular modems through AT, QMI/MBIM, USB and PCIe/MHI. Configure and troubleshoot Qualcomm/Broadcom/Atheros WiFi platforms. Debug kernel panics, driver crashes, PCIe enumeration and USB issues. Develop secure cloud connectivity using TLS/mTLS, X.509 and GRE/IPsec. Handle OpenWrt UCI configuration, persistent storage, firmware upgrades and factory-reset flows..
