Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel fabrication checking with a focus on drafting accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD to review, modify, and approve detailed drawings for structural components.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure all drawings meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Verify fabrication details, measurements, and coordinate with manufacturing to resolve design discrepancies.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of checks and revisions for project records.

Requirements

• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Full-time checking experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Prior experience with file review, quality assurance, and project documentation management.
