Job Summary
This Operating Room (OR) nurse opportunity is located in Overland Park, Kansas. The position involves supporting a surgery unit that performs a variety of procedures including neuro, orthopedic, bariatric, gynecologic, urologic, and colorectal surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role requires inpatient OR experience, with a strong focus on neuro surgery, and familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.

Job Details

• Location: Overland Park, Kansas
• Shift Time: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, inpatient OR experience, significant neuro surgery experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience: Inpatient Operating Room (OR) experience, robust neuro surgery background.
• Certifications: BLS; CNOR preferred.
• Equipment & Technology: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Meditech; presence of 3 Xi Robots supporting colorectal, bariatric, general, gynecologic, and urologic surgeries.
• Additional information: This team features advanced robotic surgical technology, a comprehensive orthopedic program focusing on total knees, hips, and complex revisions, and a supportive environment emphasizing experienced staff and modern equipment.
