We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide high-quality support to children and families in a home-based setting. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, and daily well-being while delivering respectful, personalized care aligned with each child’s needs and care plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility support as directed.
• Support the child’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being in the home environment.
• Follow the established care plan and communicate observations, changes in condition, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the child’s care, such as tidying the care area and laundering linens or clothing as needed.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and attentive supervision appropriate to the child’s age and needs.
• Support routines, activities, and other household care tasks as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency, family, and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote a respectful, safe, and nurturing environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior experience providing care in a home health, pediatric, childcare, or similar support role is preferred.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and reliable care to children with varying needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and care teams.
• Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety procedures with consistency and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to assist with routine caregiving tasks as needed.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, if required.
• Any required state or agency-specific training, certification, or credentialing must be maintained in good standing.
