Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by providing clear explanations and empathy
• Partner closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate sonographic equipment, addressing any technical issues immediately
• Keep accurate records of procedures and maintain patient data in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
