Customer Service Representative

Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for taking incoming calls from customers and coordinating customer needs with the production team for on-time delivery.

Provide excellent customer service when on the phone and answering any general questions for our customers.

Responsible for creating and maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and establishing a positive rapport with every caller.

Responsible for providing and following up on status updates and lead time concerns.

Responsible for updating order information in our custom computer program during and after each call.

Works closely with the production team and stays up to date with order schedules or any changes.

Adhere to safety regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

1-2 years of customer service experience.

Experience in Aerospace industry, a plus.

Good computer skills and working knowledge of MS software (Outlook, Word & Excel).

Possess good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members at all levels within the organization.

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Walking/Sitting for periods of time.

Exposed to artificial lighting in office environment.

Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.

Use of office equipment (telephone, computer, fax, copiers, etc.).
