Production Manager

This hands-on Production Manager role is ideal for a versatile leader who can build strong teams and drive performance from the floor.


The plant includes approximately 80 non-union associates working across two shifts and the Production Manager will lead directly and through direct reports, while maintaining a strong production floor presence in support of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee development.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a manufacturing leader who wants to be close to the floor, close to the people, and directly involved in building culture and operational discipline. The right person will bring best practices, Lean tools, and a continuous improvement mindset to help a strong organization get even better.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead daily production operations across a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
• Serve as a floor-facing mentor, culture champion, and team builder who develops team leaders and associates.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing practices, daily accountability, continuous improvement, and measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Partner closely with the Plant Manager on production planning, quality, safety, staffing, training, scheduling, equipment needs, and process improvements.
• Build effective communication across shifts, departments, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support workforce flexibility through training, cross-training, empowerment, and recognition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized facility while ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Bilingual language skills to support a predominantly Spanish-speaking workforce.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in supervisory or production leadership.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing toolkit with proven success driving daily accountability and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent directly on the floor.
• Experience leading in an organization where managers own multiple priorities across production, quality, safety, people development, and problem-solving. Effective communication, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• ERP/MRP/Database and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100,000-$125,000 annually, exempt
