Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical (Observation)
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical (Observation) provides high-quality patient care and supports the healthcare team in delivering comprehensive treatment and support to patients with various medical conditions.
Location: Dickson, TN
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs through comprehensive assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Provide patient education and support to ensure understanding of medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patient care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the patient's medical record.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or observation unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
