As the Workday Ecosystem Business Development Director, you are responsible for driving strategic growth across Accenture’s Workday business by originating, shaping, and advancing opportunities centered on Workday’s Products.You are a trusted advisor to clients, Workday leadership, and Accenture account teams, bringing deep expertise across Workday technologies including but not limited to HCM, Financials, Payroll, PSA, Sana.You drive executive-level conversations focused on business transformation, AI adoption, data modernization, customer engagement, and industry reinvention while positioning the combined value of Workday and Accenture.Strategic Focus AreasAgentic AI and Enterprise AI TransformationData-to-AI modernization leveraging Workday Industry-specific go-to-market strategies, events, and sales originationIndustry-specific AI and digital transformation solutions across Travel, Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare, Communications, Media, and Technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute joint Accenture-Workday growth strategies and co-sell motions for assigned accounts/clients.Build executive relationships with Workday Partner Development Managers, Customer Success Managers, Industry Leaders, and Account Teams.Originate opportunities involving Workday Technologies.Work closely with Accenture and Workday leadership team to drive pipeline growth.Lead executive workshops, innovation sessions, and value realization discussions.Develop business cases and ROI narratives that align technology investments to measurable business outcomes.Influence Workday leadership to position Accenture as the preferred transformation partner.Create differentiated industry solutions, thought leadership, and joint offerings aligned to Workday priorities.Enable Accenture and Workday field teams on joint value propositions and strategic growth plays.Travel is required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 50% depending on business need and client requirements.Basic Qualifications:Minimum 8+ years of business development, sales, alliance, or consulting experience.Minimum 10+ years experience of complex pursuit management and opportunity development experience.Minimum 8+ experience selling or shaping enterprise technology transformation programs.Minimum 2+ years experience with AI, analytics, data, customer experience, or ERPs.Minimum 5+ years experience with executive relationship management skills.Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)Preferred QualificationsExperience with selling Workday technologies/offerings.Experience originating and shaping AI, Generative AI, data modernization, analytics, or customer experience transformation initiatives in partnership with Workday.Experience working with Global 2000 organizations.Strong executive communication and presentation skills.Ability to engage CIOs, CFOs, CHROs, CDAOs, CTOs, CISOs, COOs, and Line-of-Business leaders.Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
