GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Grill Cook position at Nike Food Service located at 5151 Shelby Drive, Memphis, TN 38118. Schedule is full‑time; days and hours may vary. Pay is $18.50 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Minimum of 1 year experience required. Responsibilities Take orders from customers and prepare items with short preparation. Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations. Serve customers efficiently and friendly, following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards. Ensure food is at the correct temperature and attractive; taste all prepared food items. Use established ticket‑collection procedures during service; keep records from area worked. Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between workstations, stove, and refrigerator per safety standards. Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures. Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards. Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information to supervisor. Attend in‑service and safety meetings. Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers. Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience cooking on a grill or in a similar fast‑food environment. Ability to perform essential functions of the position; reasonable accommodations will be considered as appropriate. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion‑control standards.
