Telemetry Registered Nurse - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shifts, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.

A telemetry nurse is a specialized registered nurse responsible for continuously monitoring patients' vital signs and heart rhythms using advanced monitoring equipment such as EKGs. They provide care for acutely ill patients, often transitioning from intensive care, who require close observation due to heart disease or other critical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and heart rhythms in real-time.
• Assist in the assessment and management of acutely ill patients.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of RN Telemetry experience - REQUIRED
• NIH Stroke Training - REQUIRED
• NIHSS and ACLS certification - PREFERRED
• BLS certification (AHA) - REQUIRED
• Valid RN license in Michigan - REQUIRED
