Senior Security Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Analyst for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH/ Cincinnati, OH/ Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate with strong communication skills and foundational knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, responsible for reviewing IT variances for standard compliance and supporting application teams in variance creation and revisions.

Rate Range: $47/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Senior Security Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct initial reviews of IT50.06, S09, and S02 variances to ensure adherence to standard response formats and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with application teams to guide and support variance creation, updates, and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with initial reviewers to finalize variance submissions once all required information is accurately completed.
• Assist in or independently perform initial variance reviews based on experience and expertise in application security.
• Create and manage Exception Rules in ServiceNow for Application and Container Vulnerability Response processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities and governance-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in application security, cyber security governance, or a related domain.
• Basic knowledge of application security vulnerabilities with the ability to review and validate security-related variances.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with experience working in ServiceNow and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
