Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to process improvements and financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions. Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation. Review fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and accruals. Assist with cash flow reporting and treasury-related activities. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and complex transactions. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support organizational objectives. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. CPA designation or CPA eligibility is preferred but not required.
