Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: Holiday coverage Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years in acute care setting License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Advanced Telemetry experience - Skills checklist matching specialty - EMR experience preferred Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for holiday coverage. Shift available is 7 PM to 7 AM every other week. Must have advanced telemetry experience. Candidates are eligible who reside locally within 50 miles. An up-to-date resume is required, outlining relevant experience and travel history. A skills checklist matching the specialty must be provided. An active RN license is required at the time of submission. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are necessary. Licenses verification report must include all active RN licenses. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. EMR experience, particularly with Cerner, is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with Cardizem, Insulin drips (for hyperglycemia), and Phenobarbital on telemetry is expected. First-time travelers with substantial experience will be considered. The traveler may be required to float to various units, including lower acuity settings and psych as needed.
