About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Med/Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS (Preferred: ACLS) Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience - BLS certification Description: We are seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg unit. The unit typically has 18-20 beds. Staff consists of a charge nurse, multiple nurses, and support staff. Patient-to-nurse ratios are generally 6:1 with LPN support. Common equipment includes Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps. The EMR used is Meditech. The nursing role includes wound and dressing care for post-operative patients. Candidates with experience in burn care, wound care, and ostomy care are preferred. We encourage team players with a positive attitude to apply.
