Exciting Opportunity for a CT/Rad Tech at SageWest Health Care!

Job Description:


- Join our dynamic team in Riverton, where you'll perform diagnostic CT exams with cutting-edge imaging equipment!
- Utilize your skills under general supervision, following established policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by verifying identities and reviewing medical records for exam appropriateness.
- Interview patients to obtain and update medical histories; assess risk factors including medications and pregnancy.
- Educate patients about procedures, discussing side effects, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Set up equipment and acquire high-quality images as per standard protocols.
- Review images, document exceptions, and effectively communicate findings with radiologists.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing appropriate care.
- Deliver physician-prescribed post-care instructions and be involved in patient follow-up.
- Contribute to process improvement by enhancing quality of care, patient flow, and satisfaction.
- Share your knowledge through imaging education for residents and new employees.
- Be available for on-call or standby duties as required.
- You may also take on the responsibilities of a Radiologic Technologist when needed.

Requirements:


- ARRT certification in CT Tech & Radiology (please attach to submission)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (please attach to submission)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and Radiology experience; ability to work independently
- Familiarity with GE CT and X-ray machines is a must
- Submission of the SageWest coversheet is required
