About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior IR experience required. Neuro IR experience preferred. License: Valid state license for radiologic technologists Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI) Must-Have: Prior IR experience required. Neuro IR experience preferred. Description: Hiring Process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager. On-call duties consist of approximately 8 shifts, including one weekend in a 6-week period. The department features four rooms, including neuro IR. No floating to other areas is required; this role is exclusively IR. Common procedures include all interventional radiology procedures, as well as neuro IR procedures. Average number of scans performed per day will vary based on department activity. The department uses EPIC for EMR and PACS systems. Equipment utilized in the department includes Siemens and Phillips technology. In-house radiologists are available during the day, with on-call coverage provided at night and on weekends. IV starts are not included in the job description for this role. Primary scheduling is day shift, operating four 10-hour days. Weekend on-call requirements are included in the overall on-call commitment. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Client scrubs will be provided for this position. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment. This role is situated within an acute care setting.
