About Us:

NYC Behavior Specialists is a multidisciplinary agency providing high-quality therapeutic services, including ABA, SETSS, Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy. We are currently seeking a Occupational Therapist (OT) to work one-on-one with a client in Brooklyn who requires occupational therapy services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized occupational therapy in the child's home, addressing language development and communication goals.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine OT needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to support occupational goal achievement at home.
• Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports .
• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve outcomes of client

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy .
• Active New York State Occupational Therapy license (OT/L or OTR/L) in good standing.
• Experience working with young children (preschool-aged) preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with young children and engage them in play-based learning.
