International Logistics Coordinator

CertainTeed Roofing is looking for an International Logistics Coordinator to ensure the seamless execution of export orders and sample shipments to Canada. This role serves as a critical link between customers, sales teams, manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and logistics partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will manage the full order lifecycle, from order entry through delivery, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and timely resolution of issues. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to navigate complex customer and logistics challenges in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities include: Manage and process customer and sample orders for the Canadian Roofing business, ensuring timely and accurate execution. Respond to customer inquiries and service requests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics teams to resolve order discrepancies and service issues. Expedite orders to meet customer requirements and business priorities. Utilize SAP and Salesforce to manage orders, customer interactions, and service cases. Analyze customer needs and identify solutions related to lead times, product availability, sourcing, and delivery requirements. Maintain strong communication with shipping locations and corporate logistics teams to support successful order execution. Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve service levels, communication, and operational efficiency. This position plays a vital role in helping CertainTeed deliver on its commitments to customers across the United States and Canada.

To be successful in this role, you should have: A four year degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Knowledge of U.S. export and import regulations and the ability to ensure compliance with applicable international trade requirements. Experience working with order management systems, preferably SAP. Experience using Salesforce or similar customer relationship management platforms. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to evaluate options and make sound decisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while remaining accountable for individual results. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
