Business Development Representative

SimiTree provides client-centric services to home health, hospice, private duty, pediatrics, applied behavioral analysis, palliative care, and other post-acute organizations. Our organization is made up of clinical, operational, and revenue cycle experts who support our clients. SimiTree has developed a full suite of custom-designed services focusing on areas critical to quality improvement, operational efficiency, accurate reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative with experience in behavioral health and revenue cycle management (RCM) to drive new business growth. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging behavioral health providers, generating qualified leads, and promoting RCM services that improve revenue performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop relationships with mental health, substance use disorder (SUD), and behavioral health organizations.
• Generating and qualifying leads through outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Educate prospects on RCM solutions, including billing, claims management, denial resolution, insurance verification, credentialing, and accounts receivable management.
• Conduct needs assessments and identify client pain points related to reimbursement and revenue performance.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support client acquisition and onboarding efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years of business development or healthcare sales experience.
• Experience in behavioral health, medical billing, or revenue cycle management required.
• Knowledge of behavioral health reimbursement, payer requirements, claims workflows, and insurance processes.
• Strong consultative sales skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in relevant industry, systems, or tools.
• Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
• Experience with CRM platforms is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer, participating in virtual meetings, listening, and verbal communication. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually (or hourly equivalent). Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and business needs. Additional Compensation This role may also be eligible for additional compensation, including but not limited to: discretionary performance-based incentives or bonuses, commissions.
