Schedule Days Purpose Statement/Position Summary The Social Services Caseworker supports the delivery of therapeutic day treatment services for preschool-aged children with emotional and behavioral challenges. Under the supervision of clinical and program leadership, this role assists in implementing individualized behavior plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The position emphasizes direct care, milieu-based interventions, collaboration with families and multidisciplinary staff, and timely documentation to promote children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience Required 1+ years of social work/case management experience in a pediatric medical setting or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child who was hospitalized during infancy and/or received early intervention services during that period Must be willing and able to work fully onsite Preferred Bilingual skills/fluency in Spanish Head Start, Pre-School, or ABA Experience Education/Licensure/Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience required. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Pay Scale Information USD $62,088.00 - USD $82,784.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
