Inventory Clerk - Forklift & ERP Experience Preferred

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, comfortable in both an office setting and a warehouse floor, and looking to play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly? As our Inventory Administrator, you'll be the essential link connecting operations, purchasing, warehouse inventory, and accounting.

You will primarily work in a clean office environment managing ERP job costing and records, but you'll also step onto the warehouse floor to assist with cycle counts, fill in across purchasing/shipping/receiving, and operate a forklift when needed.

What You'll Do

• Master Job Costing: Accurately allocate materials, supplies, and inventory costs to specific jobs, work orders, and production projects in our ERP system.
• Keep Data Crisp: Review purchase orders, invoices, production reports, and packing slips to catch and resolve any costing or inventory discrepancies.
• Support the Warehouse Team: Perform cycle count reconciliations, assist with month-end inventory valuations, and step in to help with shipping, receiving, or purchasing during peak times or absences.
• Stay Hands-On: Drive a forklift safely in the warehouse to inspect or move inventory as needed.
• Streamline Documentation: Scan, organize, and upload vital job-related records into our document management system to keep operations seamlessly connected.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1–3 years of warehouse, inventory, or job-costing experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong computer skills, sharp attention to detail, and comfort working in ERP systems.
• Certifications: Forklift experience preferred.
• Physical Needs: Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer desk and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
