Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of CT scans, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This role requires collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients, including intricate procedures such as biopsies and CT angiograms.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile workplace.
• Prepare and position patients for scanning.
• Document patient information and scan results in the EMR system (Meditech/GE Centricity Pacs).
• Monitor patients during scans and provide necessary support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT-CT certification.
• Active Virginia state license.
• Previous CT experience is required.
• Experience with GE or Phillips equipment is preferred.
