Quality Assurance Technician

Quality Assurance TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to support food safety, quality compliance, and production operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for monitoring production processes, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining documentation accuracy, and ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, and customer standards.Perform routine quality inspections and production line checks throughout assigned shiftsMonitor production, packaging, labeling, and food safety processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standardsComplete and maintain accurate production, quality, and compliance documentationReceive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, labels, and packaging materials for accuracy, lot coding, and proper storagePrint and provide production labels and required documentation as neededFood Safety & ComplianceConduct internal GMP and food safety auditsEnforce adherence to company policies, food safety programs, and customer requirementsSupport compliance initiatives and corrective action processesPromote and model proper GMP and sanitation practices across production teamsMaintain compliance with all workplace safety, security, and food safety proceduresRequired skillsHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to write detailed reports and maintain accurate recordsBasic mathematical and analytical skillsPreferred2–3 years of experience within food and/or beverage manufacturingExperience working with GMPs, food safety programs, and production quality systemsWork EnvironmentPosition is based in a food production and warehouse environment, including refrigerated and frozen areasRegular exposure to cold temperatures ranging from approximately -10°F to 40°FEnvironment may include loud noise levels, dust, odors, and high employee trafficFrequent movement between production floors, warehouses, refrigerated storage, and office areasPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for extended periodsFrequent bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, balancing, and reachingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs consistentlyAbility to occasionally climb stairs or laddersFlexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and occasional holidays based on operational needs
