Cardiology and ECG Technician, Per Diem

Job Description Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Cardiology & ECG Technician to join our team on a part‑time basis. This position primarily covers every other weekend, making it a great option for someone seeking flexibility and work‑life balance whether you’re balancing another job, education, or personal commitments. Position Details Position: Cardiology & ECG Technician Location: Alfond Center for Health Schedule: Per diem, primarily every other weekend; 7:00am – 11:00am. Weekday shifts are available, but not required. Shift: Days What You'll Do Perform ECGs on patients and ensure exams are turned in to the physician. Prepare patients for other cardiology procedures, including stress testing, Holter monitoring, and event monitoring. Review patient records and provide instructions before and during procedures. Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintain exam areas. Ensure procedure charges are obtained and entered in the appropriate software with timeliness and accuracy. What You Bring Prior experience with ECGs and cardiac monitor placement is preferred – we are willing to train the right candidate. Basic knowledge of cardiac procedures and medical terminology is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Comfortable operating and troubleshooting medical equipment.
