Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,460 - $2,498 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 8-hour days Assignment setting: Home health travel nursing Start date: 09/21/2026 Responsibilities Assess home health and/or hospice patients in stable and emergent situations to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs; document in the care plan Implement, develop, document, and evaluate the Plan of Care (POC) to ensure quality and continuity of care Gather data on physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural factors and incorporate into the POC Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring visits, contacts, problems, plans, actions, and goals are accurately reflected and updated Provide care utilizing infection control practices and comply with OSHA standards; educate patients and families on care, medications, home safety, and related topics Supervise and provide clinical directions to HHA/STNA/LVN to ensure quality and continuity of service Requirements Current state license as a Registered Nurse (Active Maine RN license required) 1-2 years of RN clinical care experience; 2+ years of home health experience required Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred CPR certification required; CHPN certification preferred Proficiency with Homecare Homebase software and OASIS experience required Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; ability to travel locally to patient homes Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team Benefits and Support Guaranteed 40 hours per week 14-week assignment duration Travel assignment with ongoing staffing support Professional development and credentialing support through the staffing organization Dedicated recruiter and assignment support throughout the engagement Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
