Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying clinical judgment and established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required prior to start date (submissions accepted with ACLS pending)
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care setting
