With global locations, technologies and products, 3M is a place where you can collaborate with other curious, creative 3Mers.This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.3M INDIANAPOLIS is seeking a candidate for the position of Manufacturing Coordinator - Inventory.Job Description:As An Manufacturing Coordinator - Inventory you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.Here, you will make an impact by:Coordinating and conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory-related processes as required by the business.Performing on-site cycle counts and physical inventory counts.Assisting with physical counts of outsourced inventories.Executing virtual transactions for outsourced inventories.Partnering with site employees to ensure proper counting methods and accurate reporting practices.To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.Required: (Basic Qualifications):High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).Six (6) months to one (1) year of related work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment in a private, government or military environment.Must be flexible to work schedules, shifts, overtime, and weekends as required to support business needs.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience reviewing and analyzing inventory reports, including variance reports and other inventory-related documentation, with a high degree of accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.Experience using SAP to support inventory management, production, or warehouse operations.Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.Work Location: 3M INDIANAPOLIS, INTravel: NoneRelocation Assistance: N/AMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
