STATUS Part time LOCATION Linden Oaks (Primary Location); rotation to Greece and Batavia as needed. DEPARTMENT Sleep Disorders SCHEDULE Days; Monday-Friday ATTRIBUTES Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail Compassionate, kind and patient focused Ability to evaluate and manage patients with overlapping sleep and behavioral health conditions RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Satisfaction. Interacts on a frequent, regular and daily basis with patients, family members, medical/social/public services support, regulatory agencies and/or payor agencies. Interaction and communication requires expressed empathy, understanding, problem-solving, education, information gathering, process influencing and counseling. Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages a wide range of sleep disorders, including those with psychiatric or behavioral components. Treatment. Prescribe medication and coordinate treatment; provide health education and guidance regarding treatment; communicate with, and counsel family members; recommend community resources and refer patients to collaborating physician, behavioral health specialists, or other specialists as indicated. Administrative Assistance. Perform administrative responsibilities such as updating patient charts, billing codes and completing required documents from outside agencies. EDUCATION MS: Nursing (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS RN - Registered Nurse - NYS Office of Professions NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - NYS Office of Professions PAY RANGE $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
