About eMed
──────────────────────────────────────────
The GLP-1 era didn't create America's metabolic crisis. It just made it impossible to look away. Roughly 90% of U.S. healthcare spending goes to chronic disease that begins in metabolism, and for decades the system's answer was to wait for a massive health issue, then send the bill. eMed was built to get there first.

We are at the epicenter of healthcare transformation an AI enabled platform. We put diagnostic-grade blood testing on people's kitchen tables, clinicians on their screens in minutes, and real biomarkers at the center of every decision.

Today we offer GLP-1 management, where employers facing double-digit cost increases need programs that actually work. That's where we're winning. It is not where we stop. Cardiometabolic risk gets caught years before it becomes a claim that's we're building. If you've spent your career watching healthcare treat consequences, come help us treat causes.

About Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in Cloud at eMed, you will play a central role in designing, building, and maintaining the platform that empowers our application developers. You’ll work on critical systems that ensure reliability, security, and scalability—enabling product teams to deliver rapidly and safely.
We are seeking someone who can focus on the developer experience, supporting our developers to easily achieve their objectives by exposing platform capabilities in a simple, transparent and effective manner, appropriate for a small Cloud Engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone who can partner with application engineers to understand their needs and find effective solutions whilst understanding, meeting and helping to improve our engineering standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Foster links with application developers to understand their needs and issues.

• Design, build, and operate platform tooling that creates a seamless developer experience.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles

• Operate and improve our production Kubernetes environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and maintainability

• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions), driving automation and reliability across the software delivery lifecycle

• Improve platform observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting systems, contributing to incident response and prevention

• Work closely with engineers across teams to support infrastructure needs, unblock delivery, and embed platform best practices

• Contribute to infrastructure design reviews, documentation, and internal tooling to support developer productivity

• Participate in and contribute to in-person, daily stand-ups and cross-team meetings
