CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)

Position Overview We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position located at 421 North Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL 32723 (Stetson University). The role involves operating a point of sale system, assisting the chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining clean cashier and coffee stations. Responsibilities Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts and prepares catering orders. Performs cashier duties using the POS system, maintains cash accuracy and makes deposits at shift end. Performs general cleaning duties; removes trash and garbage to designated areas. Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving. Inventory and restocks supplies and food products. Sets up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken and recorded and within acceptable ranges. Serves hot and cold items to customers. Sets up items for purchase daily. Keeps refrigerator stocked, rotating products using first-in, first-out. Stocks pantries with correct par levels daily; records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Prior food service experience required. Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.
