Job Description

Job Title: Forklift Operator / Order Picker
Location: Liverpool, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.25/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Liverpool, NY. This role involves moving and handling building materials, as well as picking orders using a headset system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and committed to maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to safely move, load, and unload building products
• Pick and prepare orders using a voice-directed (headset) system
• Accurately select materials based on customer orders
• Stage, organize, and prepare shipments for delivery or pickup
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or building materials environment is a plus
• Comfortable using voice-picking or headset systems (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable with good attendance and work ethic

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures (indoor and outdoor work)
• Physically active role involving standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
