Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care, developing personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including clinical notes, billing information, and communications with both the healthcare team and the public.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in various therapeutic interventions, applying the highest standards of performance throughout the patient/client encounter.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA regulations, Medicare rules, and specific billing and coding practices to maintain financial integrity.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients/clients and their families, as well as with all members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, composing of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions that impact mobility and quality of life. You will be expected to provide physical therapy services tailored to both adults and pediatric patients, employing techniques that enhance recovery and foster independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to engage and work effectively with pediatric patients is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of clinical experience in a relevant acute care hospital or outpatient setting.
• Experience with EMR software and computerized billing systems is advantageous for seamless documentation and administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy to enhance patient care.
