- Champion a safe and friendly environment for all Team Members
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed, and use corrective action when necessary in regard to Safety, work rules, attendance and other violations.
- Participate in continuous improvement and effectively communicate opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness for this position.
- Schedule Team Members and orders to proper machines to ensure efficiency
- Recognize good performance and acknowledge Team Members.
- Participate and facilitate communication meetings with Team Members pertaining to safety, toolbox discussions, daily production walks, preventative maintenance meetings and monthly Crew Leader meetings.
- Communicate between departments on customer orders.
- Ensure production floor feedback is accurately recorded in Kiwi system.
- Write up, and/or approve maintenance work orders.
- Respond, record, and investigate accidents and administer first aid.
- Supply tooling and resources to Team Members and machines.
- Provides direction and leadership to Team Members in all departments as needed.
