This contract position features a manageable caseload of 35-45 students, primarily at the elementary level, offering you the chance to work closely with children during pivotal stages of their development. You'll have the support of two skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), making collaboration an integral part of your day-to-day experience.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a School Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure
• Previous school-based OT experience is preferred
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and caseload management
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff
• Familiarity with IEP development, goal-setting, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions for students to enhance participation and performance in the school environment
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and COTAs to deliver coordinated services
• Develop individualized programs and support IEP implementation
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for students and their families
